Who or What Are You a Slave To?

Liberals are slave owners.  And the sooner you see this, the better it will be for you to come out from under their enslavement to the joy and delight that comes with freedom.

You see, liberals are slave owners in the ideological sense. In the past (as well as still today in some countries), some are slaves physically. But here in the West, people are being held as slaves ideologically by liberal tactics and mind-control.

Both whites and blacks are held by liberals as ideological slaves. They will use such tactics as fear, intimidation, control, bullying, embarrassment, and comedy to keep you in their web of an ideological slave. They know that if they can capture your mind, they will have the rest of you as well. Why just have a person’s body? Why not have the whole person, starting with the mind?

But we who are Christians come under a different mind-set.  We are told in the Bible to “present our bodies and renew our minds” (Rom. 12:1-2) that we may know the “good, acceptable and perfect will of God.”

This is why we must never ever jettison the Scriptures in order to find wisdom elsewhere.  Don’t look to the right to find a path of living, and do not look to the left to find a similar path. Look to the Scriptures, God’s holy book, called the Bible. For therein you have everything you need for faith, the practice of your faith and “things that pertain to godliness” (2 Pet. 1:3).

Now I say this to us Christians because there are things the left will say and practice that are wrong; and there are things that the right will say and do that are not always right.  Do not get your wisdom or direction from relying on any of these two political entities. Get it from the Bible. You want to hear God’s voice? Good!  So do I.  Then open up the Bible and start reading it and listen to the voice of the Shepherd.

Become a slave to God, not to man, and not to any political party. We can learn things from others and from a political party, as long as we filter it all through the Scriptures.  God will never lead you astray. Your greatest freedom will be experienced as a slave of God. Your greatest slavery will be experienced when you become a slave to the world, the flesh or the devil.  There is no one alive who has more genuine, perfect and infinite freedom than God Himself.  True freedom is enhanced when you submit your mind to God and ideologically you think His thoughts and learn biblical discernment. It is a progression that takes time, practice and a commitment to prepare by investing yourself in God’s Word. Don’t settle for short cuts.
